The Nursery

Children are welcomed into the Nursery at the beginning of the term of their third birthday.  Morning (9:00am – 1:00pm), afternoon (12:45pm – 3:20pm) and all day sessions are available.  All day and morning sessions include a delicious cooked lunch in the school dining room.  We are flexible and do our best to meet the individual needs of children and their parents, so please contact us if these session times do not meet your requirements.

The Nursery is warm and cosy in the winter and cool in the summer.  A conservatory extension is light and cheery, as well as providing easy access to the new garden.  The garden was completed in late 2009 and, as well as many scented flowers and plants, includes an arbour and a turret-shaped playhouse which fires the imagination of the children.

In addition to this wonderful outdoor space, the Nursery children have supervised access to the beautiful  school  grounds, where they have the freedom to run in open spaces, play games and practise skills on grass or hard surface areas.  They also have access to the Forest School

Qualified staff provide stimulating play opportunities in an environment that is both fun and educational.  The staff are attentive to the needs of all the children whilst developing their skills for independence.

Many children go on to enjoy their education in Pre-Prep.  Close links and joint activities with the Reception Class ensure a smooth transition into school life.

Nursery Education Funding is available for 3 to 4 year olds.  School transport runs to and from Hereford, Leominster and Worcester at certain times of the day.
